This is the third chapter of a process that has already produced two international declarations. Cairo 2024 named the problem. Barcelona 2025 turned it into commitments. Cairo 2026 puts those commitments to work — bringing policymakers, researchers, media professionals, and civil society together to ask a harder question: in a world reshaped by artificial intelligence, what does it take for media and information literacy to actually deliver peace, not just describe it? This year's edition goes further than any before it, launching three new axes of institutional cooperation designed to outlast the three days of the conference itself.
